Laura Blondin, E-RYT 500, YACEP
Laura (known to her students as Laura B) is the woman behind Intrinsic Yoga.
She has been practicing yoga for 15+ years & teaching yoga for 6+ years...
How Things Got Started
After stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time in 2011, Laura’s vinyasa practice began expanding in 2016 to include aerial, restorative, yin, sound & breath workshops and guided meditation practices. The self reflection that all branches of yoga offered has become a deeply rooted part of her personal and teaching practice. She now seeks to share the grounding journey with others. She aims to facilitate a kind, welcoming, and accepting atmosphere where students can safely explore the path to a peaceful mind that honors their body & soul.
CORE VALUES

Mental Clarity
On the mat, the mind can strive to focus on the body, its movement, and its link to the breath - pressing a brief pause on everything else happening in life. By trying on creative sequences that help keep the mind focused on physical transitions, we are working to remain in & appreciate the present moment.

Inclusivity
Even in a group setting, yoga is an individual practice that allows students of all abilities and sizes to honor where they are currently at & what they currently need. Students will always have autonomy to choose how they practice, and their choices will always be respected.

Balance
Yoga reflects union - of body, mind, & breath. Even in a class that guides physical movement, students are given opportunity to notice their breath & their thoughts; creating balance as a whole being. Acknowledging where we are at in the present from all aspects is not a critique & it is never good nor bad; it is part of the path to finding truthful acceptance and self reflection.

Self Study
By asking ourselves to look inward, we are reflecting on our own experience & perceptions. We're noticing how we speak to ourselves, our behaviors, patterns, and interactions with others. Self reflection can honor good intentions & positive actions, while also creating a lens in which we can see where & how to improve - impacting both ourselves, and those around us.
